Join the team this year to help serve the people of Santa Barbara Honduras. You don’t need any special skills to make a difference but if you have a skill set we will use you to bless them.

First Meeting 2017: January 31st, 7 PM Lake City Community Church, main auditorium.

Our first meeting held on Monday was attended by over 30 people representing about 50 interested in taking the challenge to go to Honduras and serve. The team will be limited to 40 and will be formed by the first deposits in the order they are received. We don’t want to turn anyone away and pray that the individuals that really desire to go will be on the list. 

The first meeting for the Honduras Team Trip is scheduled for Jan. 14, 7 pm at Lake City Community Church. The meeting will provide general information on the June 14-22, 2014 trip. Stay tuned for more information.

I am encouraged to see the enthusiasm of so many people young and old willing to go to Honduras and serve the underprivileged. The second organizational team meeting was held this week and we now have 28 from our area and about 12 from Warm Beach, WA interested in the journey. There is still time to join and catch up on the information given out already. All the handouts from the meetings are available on this blog under Team Meeting Notes. As God prepares our hearts to serve we are praying for those we will reach when we arrive in June.
